Costa Rica, with its sandy beaches, its volcanoes and impossibly lush greenery – and despite its shortcomings – has been a hit again at Spain’s International Tourism Fair (FITUR) this week.
This country was chosen as the top travel destination in Latin America in 2007 by Travel Weekly, the third year the magazine has picked Costa Rica after calling it the best in 2006 and 2004.
