Playa Palo Seco is known as one of the best west coast beaches in Costa Rica. Hotels (Tesoro), shops, restaurants and houses are under construction. It is less than 30 minutes to Quepos (airport) 45 minutes to Jaco.

Palo Seco is one of the very few beaches left that does not allow over building on lots and have very strict codes in which a maximum of only 2 stories is permitted.
